Live Music, Martial Arts Coming To Northport For Family Nights
Northport Harbor Family Nights are scheduled to bring family fun to the area on Aug. 6 and 13.
NORTHPORT, NY — The two dates for the Northport Harbor Family Nights have been announced for summer 2019, with celebrations planned Aug. 6 and Aug. 13.
The Family Nights, sponsored by the Northport Chamber of Commerce and Northwell Health, are an opportunity for the entire family to get out of the house and have some fun this summer.
Both festivals will run from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will feature a variety of live music. Two live bands — Group Therapy Band and the Northport Jazz Orchestra — will perform Aug. 6.

The jazz group will again perform Aug. 13, accompanied by Tito Batista & The Black Rose Orchesta. Inflatables for kids will be available on both dates, as well as DJ Tommy Bruno and a variety of performances from local school programs.
There will also be a Nokado demonstration Aug. 13, which is a type of jiu-jitsu.
