Long Island Youth Fall Flag Football Leagues

NS Flag Football Youth League Got Underway Saturday, September 4

34 flag football teams participated in the Season opener. Kids from 4 to 12 years old took to the Bellrose Ave. Veterans Park turf to compete in the friendly game of flag football. Teams from Northport, East Northport, Elwood, Harborfields and Huntington played mostly close games. The league adjusts the schedule as to pit the teams who won by the highest point total against one another next Saturday. Conversely the teams that struggled will meet next week. After safety, the league puts a premium on parity, wheer teams of approximate skill levels will play in future weeks
The League will also add a Sunday morning league for those players who have other commitments on Saturdays.
