‘Luby Recovery Fund’ Supports Northport Family Facing Multiple Hardships

The Northport man is recovering from a serious car crash that occurred weeks after his wife's recent breast cancer diagnosis.

The Northport community has come together to raise money for a Northport family facing multiple hardships at once.

Samuel Luby, 46, of Northport, is in critical condition after his vehicle struck a tree at a notorious turn on Fort Salonga Road Thursday morning.

Luby, a husband and a father, broke many bones, requiring him to undergo multiple surgeries. Due to Samuel’s extended hospital stay, he will be out of work for a long period of time.
