Masked Man Armed With Large Knife Robs East Northport Dunkin' Donuts

A man armed with a large kitchen knife robbed an East Northport Dunkin’ Donuts early Friday, police say.

According to authorities, the man entered the store, located at 314 Larkfield Road, jumped over the counter and stole cash from the register at 12:23 a.m. An employee was behind the counter during the robbery but was not injured.

Police described the robber as white or Hispanic, approximately 6 feet tall, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a mask. He fled the store on foot and entered a waiting vehicle.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this robbery to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
