Man Attacked by Robber in East Northport Driveway
BREAKING: Police and canine units were searching the area for the robber Friday morning.

A man was hospitalized after police say he was attacked with a weapon and robbed in his driveway in East Northport on Friday morning.
According to police, an unknown person approached the man in his Howard Court driveway, cut him with an unknown object, stole his wallet and fled the scene at approximately 12:30 a.m. Police were only able to confirm one victim in the robbery.
Canine and patrol officers searched for the robber but were unable to locate him.

The man was transported to Huntington Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing.
