Man Robs Elwood Bank: Police

ELWOOD, NY — An Elwood bank was robbed on Friday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

A man entered TD Bank, at 1941 Jericho Turnpike, around 3:55 p.m., and demanded money from the teller, police said. The teller gave the man the money, and the man ran out of the bank, police said.

Police described the man as white, wearing a knit cap, dark jacket, light pants and a face covering.
