Man Uses Counterfeit Money At Carvel

EAST NORTHPORT, NY–Suffolk County Police is seeking the public's help to find the man who used counterfeit money at an East Northport ice cream shop in May.

The man used counterfeit money at the Carvel located at 1918 Jericho Turnpike around 9:10 p.m. on May 14. The man was described as thin, in his late teens or early 20s and has facial hair.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
