I hope everyone had a great weekend! I spent my Sunday at the NY Botanical Gardens, it was such a lovely day. I have been very interested in taking some herbalism classes to incorporate into my practice so my interest was piqued once I heard they had a Wild Medicine exhibit right now. I loved it and was definitely inspired to say the least. There was a sections that were divided into Digestion, Female Health, Male Health (a huge Saw Palmetto Tree), many Stevia, Cayenne Pepper, Cacao Trees and my very favorite Aloe. I can’t even begin to list all of the wonderful trees and plants that were grown from all over that they had. It was nice to see them in there original raw form and reading about the wonderful ancient medicinal uses for them. I try to always find a natural and holistic way but I was just in awe and totally in my glory there
I feel so inspired! I’ve already purchased a book to broaden my herb horizons, called Grow It Heal It by Christopher Hobbs and Leslie Gardner. Here are a couple shots of me from the exhibit.
