Northport Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Ashley
Ashley, a 7-month-old female, was found in a yard. She is very friendly. Are you interested in adopting her?

NORTHPORT, NY — Ashley, a 7-month-old female gray calico kitten, is the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kitten of the Week.
"Ashley was rescued when a kind family found her in their yard and then contacted us for help," Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue, said. "Ashley was friendly and easy to rescue. Straight to her foster mom she went, where she has been thriving ever since."
Ashley has soft fur, and when one picks her up, she is surprisingly light — because she is all fluff, Wild said.

"Ashley is great with other cats and also with the dog she is being fostered with," Wild said. "She is always purring, and even when she gets timid since she loves to eat so much, it’s easy to get her to come to you, especially with some tasty treats."
Ashley is a sweet kitten, and she would do well in a home with other kittens or cats to play with, according to Wild.

"Ashley’s life started with uncertainty outdoors, but she has proven to everyone she wants nothing more than a warm home with a family to call her own," Wild said.

Ashley is spayed, has all her shots, is litter box-trained, micro-chipped, and FELV/FIV negative.
