Northport Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Dalilah

NORTHPORT, NY — Dalilah, a 1-year-old female, was named the Northport Pet of the Week. She was described as a "very sweet and playful girl."

"A beauty with big green eyes, she was rescued as a stray kitten along with her brother and two sisters," Lora Wild, a volunteer at the rescue, said. "Her siblings have each found their purrfect forever homes and yet Dalilah still waits, wondering where her forever family is? She has come a long way, learning to trust and love, and just needs someone to do the same for her!"

She is spayed, has all her shots, is litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV Negative.

The rescue is not doing face-to-face meetings with interested families until the new coronavirus has passed, but they're taking adoption applications to begin the process. Personal information won't be shared, Wild said.
