Northport Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Tiger

NORTHPORT, NY — Tiger, a 9-month-old female tabby, was named the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kitten of the Week.

She is defined as the sweetest kitten with the "sweetest voice you have ever heard," by Lora Wild, a volunteer at the cat rescue.

"Her eyes sparkle with kindness when she looks at you," Wild told Patch in an email. "Once she trusts you, she absolutely loves to be pet and held and hugged, and is a purring machine. She is currently in foster care and loves the other kitties, and is great with dogs, too!"

Tiger was rescued by a family in Blue Point, along with her siblings, and brought to the Northport Cat Rescue Association to get her prepared for her forever home.

"With all the social distancing needed in the world right now, its hard not to feel lonely sometimes," Wild said. "A furry little friend could be your perfect companion now and always! They are always so grateful to find their forever home, and Tiger is longing for that and more than ready!!"

She is spayed, has all her shots, is litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV Negative.
