Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Ace And Midnight
The 6-month-old bonded brothers were rescued from the streets when they were just babies. Would you like to meet one or both?

NORTHPORT, NY — Ace and Midnight, a pair of 6-month-old bonded brothers, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.
The boys were rescued from the streets along with their other siblings when they were just babies, said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.
"The foursome cuddled together and depended on one another, and in foster care they thrived," Wild said. "The others have since been adopted, but Ace and Midnight are still waiting."

The two are currently at the rescue's habitats in Petco Huntington.
Sometimes it can be hard to see them, as they could be hiding under a blanket or huddled together, according to Wild.

"Being there can be scary for kittens, but it is their best opportunity for exposure to get adopted," Wild said. "Rest assured as timid as they may seem inside the habitat, when our wonderful volunteers come for playtime, the boys run out and are ready for pets and playtime!"
Ace is silly and playful, Wild said. His favorite toy is a simple cat spring. If someone bats the spring toward Ace, he will happily push it back to you, and play "catch" for as long as you would like. He adores pets and to play with his brother.
Midnight loves to play with Ace and has gained so much more confidence since he was first rescued, Wild said. He will purr up a storm while being pet and loved.
"These two boys are spending their kittenhood waiting patiently each day for just one application to come in to give them their happily ever afters," Wild said. "They need a home to finally rest and be loved and of course be able to play anytime they wish."
They are neutered, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, and micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
If you are interested in meeting Ace or Midnight, you may head to the Northport Cat Rescue website and fill out an application to let them know you would like to meet them or any of the rescue's other wonderful kittens and cats!
