NORTHPORT, NY — Ace, Midnight and Jan, three brothers, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.

The three boys were rescued from the streets, along with their sister, when they were just babies, said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.

"The foursome cuddled together and depended on one another, and in foster care they thrived," Wild said. "Their sister has since been adopted, and now it’s time for the boys to find their happily ever after."

The boys are currently at Petco Commack.

"Sometimes it can be hard to see them because they are hiding under a blanket or huddled together," Wild said. "Being there can be scary for kittens, but it is their best opportunity for exposure to get adopted. Rest assured as timid as they may seem inside the habitat, when our wonderful volunteers come for playtime, the boys come out, and are silly and affectionate too."

Jan is the most outgoing an independent of the three, Wild said.

"Very sweet, and adventurous, he is a pure joy to watch hide in the cat tunnel trying to sneak attack his brother Midnight. Ace enjoys watching the two, very content to watch them from atop a cat tree. As each day passes, he becomes mushier and loves attention."

Midnight is the "perfect combination" of his brothers, Wild said.

"It sure would be wonderful to see these three boys be adopted together, but we do think Jan would be ok on his own to the right family," she said. "We would like Ace and Midnight to stay together. All three would be a wonderful addition to any home, and we know will bring a lifetime of smiles to anyone lucky enough to adopt them."

They are neutered, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, and micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
