Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Anchovy & Mussel

NORTHPORT, NY — Anchovy and Mussel were named the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Pets of the Week. Anchovy (female) and Mussel (male) are 6-month-old siblings.

The siblings were rescued by a Good Samaritan in Melville, who brought them to the Northport cat rescue in hopes of them finding a forever home. The two get along very well together, the association told Patch, and they love to play and cuddle with one another.

"Both are super friendly, playful, and are sure to make you smile!," the cat rescue told Patch.

You can meet these kittens at Petco Commack, along with their siblings, Shrimp and Sardine. The store is at 30 Veterans Memorial Highway.

Anchovy and Mussel are spayed and neutered, have all their shots, are micro-chipped and are FELV/FIV Negative. To meet them or any of the association's other kittens and cats, head to its Northport Cat Rescue website and fill out an application and let them know who you would like to meet. You can also fax an application to 631-651-5597.
