NORTHPORT, NY — Candy and Brittany, a pair of 4-month-old bonded sisters, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.

The kittens have been in foster care since they were babies, according to Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue. They have been raised with kids and other cats, and both have a lot of love to give.

"They would be the perfect addition to a family looking for affectionate and fun new fur babies," Wild said. "Candy is as sweet as her name, and comes the moment someone calls her name. When it is time for bed, she will wait outside the door for her foster sister to wash up because she knows it's snuggle time in bed. She will curl up next to you, and give good night kisses. Kittens don’t get much cuter, with her adorable little freckle on her face."

Her sister, Brittany, loves to play fetch and will bring any toy to someone to play with her, according to Wild.

She welcomes her foster mom home from work each day and will trot over the moment she walks through the door. She also loves to cuddle at night and give love.

"Brittany, however, also loves to work out, sitting under you while doing push-ups," Wild said. "She is inquisitive and affectionate. They are as bonded to people as they are to each other. They have a very hard time in our habitats, so we would love to get them adopted straight from their foster home. These 2 girls are simply perfect."

Candy and Brittany are spayed, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, and micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
