Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Cole & Nero

NORTHPORT, NY — Cole and Nero, a pair of 8-month-old bonded brothers, were named the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.

"Cole has the most beautiful golden eyes and a white spot on his chest, while Nero’s silky fur and adorable face just lights up any room he is in!!!," Lora Wild, a volunteer at the cat rescue, wrote in an email. "They love each other very much and enjoy being together almost as much as playing with their humans with toys; especially ones that have feathers attached. These gorgeous and very affectionate brothers are waiting for their forever home where they hope to grow up together and make someone’s family complete."

They are both neutered, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV Negative.

The rescue is not doing face-to-face meetings with interested families until the new coronavirus has passed, but they're taking adoption applications to begin the process. Personal information won't be shared, Wild said.
