Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Elsa And Cyrus

NORTHPORT, NY — Elsa and Cyrus, a pair of 4-month old long-haired kitten siblings, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.

Elsa is a long-haired calico with soft fur and beautiful markings, said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.

"She is a sweet, lady like little girl," Wild said. "She is completely content just sitting in your lap, purring, and giving and getting affection. She loves her brother and will watch his silly antics from your lap."

Cyrus has long black and white fur, Wild said. He is his sister's protector.

"He absolutely adores her and will cuddle her and lick her face when he is snuggling her," Wild said. "He struts around like he owns the place with his fearless and silly personality. Don’t let that fool you though, he is a big mush ball, surrounding your neck as if you have a fur collar on, purring away."

Both kittens wag their tails like a dog when happy, Wild said.

"These two are as beautiful on the inside, as they are on the outside, and are the most gentle and sweet kittens, waiting patiently for their forever home, where they can grow up together," she said.

Elsa and Cyrus are spayed and neutered, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
