Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Enzo And Luca

NORTHPORT, NY — Enzo and Luca, 4-month-old bonded brothers, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.

They were rescued as babies from outdoors, where they only had each other to depend on, said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.

Luca is all black and Enzo is all gray. Both have the most beautiful, soft fur, according to Wild.

"They are very snuggly and demanding of attention," she said. "They have no problem jumping into your lap asking for some cuddles. As affectionate as they are with people, they are extremely bonded to each other as well."

Luca hurt his leg as a baby, and it was Enzo who stayed by his side and comforted him, Wild said. If they are separated for too long, they will start calling for each other so they can play together.

"Happy and silly, they love to run around with toys in their mouth chasing each other," she said. "They have the cutest little meows, chirping like birds while being mischievous yet entertaining along the way. They get along very well with other cats, playing with all their foster brothers and sisters and then snuggling when they are all tuckered out. They are pure joy and have come such a long way from the two scared little kittens they were when first rescued. They will absolutely light up your home and want nothing more than to grow up together."

They will be neutered, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
