NORTHPORT, NY - King Arthur and Sir Lancelot, a pair of 4-month-old bonded brothers, were named the Northport Cat Rescue Association's kittens of the week.

"These two little guys are sweet as can be, perhaps because they were rescued from behind Carl’s Candies shop in Northport!" Lora Wild, a volunteer at the rescue, said. "They were found fending for themselves with their sister Marshmallow and brother Monty, who were rescued first, and have since been adopted. Arthur and Lancelot were the feisty ones of the bunch and gave us a bit of a run for our money when trying to rescue them, but now are safe and sound and waiting for a home of their own…together."

Arthur has a cute smudge on his nose that makes everyone smile. Lancelot has curious eyes that show the strength of his spirit, as he watches over his brother with kindness, according to Wild.

"Calm and relaxed around people, they both crave attention and will rub up against you begging to be pet and loved. They are silly and fun to watch, playing together, but sadly are spending these sweet kitten days in a cage. We can’t wait until a family comes along to give them the home they deserve that will hopefully allow them to grow up with each other."

They are neutered, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
