Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Marisol, Juan, And Alberto
Marisol is the mother of Juan and Alberto. The cat rescue would like to see the three of them adopted together.

NORTHPORT, NY — Marisol, and her kittens, Juan and Alberto, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Cats of the Week.
Marisol and her kittens were rescued together, according to Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.
"Marisol is a wonderful mommy, making sure her boys were safe, even though she was just but a kitten herself, at only around 9 months," Wild said.

Marisol is all black, stunning, and sleek, Wild said. She is very mellow and will let her babies eat and play first.
"She will follow you around, throwing herself down for pets and affection," Wild said. "She loves to be held and will close her eyes while purring in your arms. The kitten in her comes out, while playing with her boys, but is the most considerate and gentle cat and is sure to fill your home with love."

Her boys, Juan and Alberto, are the most silly and sweet kittens, taught well by their mom, according to Wild. Juan is polydactyl, which means he has extra toes, and is a big mush.
"He is quick to purr the minute you pet him or pick him up for cuddles. He will lie next to you, the ultimate couch potato, but then jump and play with his brother and Mom. He is an absolute dream."
Alberto is the most vocal of the group and will follow people around, meowing and then purring for treats, Wild said. He loves to play and wrestle and is such a silly boy, his mom Marisol seems to laugh at him while watching him play.
"It would be so wonderful to see these three grow up in a home together; they are an amazing family," Wild said. "They are all quite bonded, however Marisol could go to a family with lots of love as long as her boys remain together."
They are all spayed and neutered, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, and micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
