Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Ollie And Hercules
Ollie, 4 years old, and Hercules, 6, need a new home, as their owner moved out of NY and could not take the cats.

NORTHPORT, NY — Ollie and Hercules, a pair of bonded male buddies, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Cats of the Week.
Ollie is an orange tabby, around 4 years old, and Hercules is a velvety black cat around 6 years old.
The boys need a new home after their former owner was moving out of New York and could not take the cats with her, according to Lora Wild, a volunteer with the cat rescue.

"Ollie and Hercules came to us with front paws declawed," Wild said. "They are the most gentle and sweet souls. Both are very friendly, but their world has been turned upside down. They are definitely confused about being in a habitat, and nervous about the thought of being separated. We want them to be adopted together because they truly love each other. Do not let the name Hercules fool you, he is a big softie. In fact when they first came to us, Hercules would not stop crying until Ollie was put in the carrier with him. They are each other’s best friend."
Both love to play, be brushed, petted and loved, Wild said. They have lived with other cats and even a dog, and are very friendly with all.
