Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Samantha, Tabitha & Chester
The cats were found on the streets of Brooklyn trying to survive a harsh winter. They are looking for a comfortable home.

NORTHPORT, NY — Samantha and Tabitha, two bonded 8-month-old sisters, as well as their buddy, Chester, a 1-year-old male tuxedo, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kitties of the Week.
"All three of these adorable cats were found on the streets in Brooklyn, doing their very best to survive the harsh winter, as they were all still just kittens themselves," Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue, said. "It wasn’t easy but the three of them survived it together. Once rescued, they were all placed in foster care and their personalities blossomed."
The girls remained together and have loved and comforted each other over the past few months, according to Wild. They are both considered to be sweet, loving and very friendly.

"They play with their toys and look up at you with slow blinks and gratitude for the attention they are receiving," Wild said.
Chester’s fun and affectionate personality has come out, meanwhile.

"He loves to play, and our volunteers have called him quite the charmer with his antics," Wild said. "He is extremely vocal and will have a full-on conversation with you as if he is telling you all that he has been through and how relieved he is that he and his friends are safe."
The trio is currently being taken care of at the association's Petco Commack Habitats, and the cats are enjoying the attention they are getting from the volunteers.
"But we would love for them to finally understand what a forever home is. They are ready to become part of someone’s family."
They are neutered or spayed, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, and micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
