Northport Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Willow, Aspen, Oak
The trio, 3 months old, were rescued from a hoarding situation where they were scared, undernourished and unkept. Here is how to adopt one.

NORTHPORT, NY — Aspen, Willow and Oak, 3-month-old siblings, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week. Aspen and Willow are sisters, and Oak is their brother.
"The three siblings were rescued from a hoarding situation, and came to us scared, undernourished and unkept," Lora Wild, a volunteer with the cat rescue, said. "Straight into a loving foster home they went, and have thrived ever since."
Aspen, who was the runt of the group, is very affectionate, sleeping curled up by the side of her foster family’s daughter each night, according to Wild.

"She is absolutely adorable. Her siblings all adore being held and are very loving. They love to play, especially with little spring toys."
These three kittens have even been fostered with a dog, and became friends with him as well, Wild said.

They are currently in the cat rescue's habitats at Petco Commack, now a little on the sad side, because they do miss running around all day in their foster home.
"We hope to get them adopted quickly so they can continue to thrive in their forever homes, and be safe, healthy and loved always," Wild said.
All three are neutered or spayed, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, and micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
