Here's a breakdown of how PSEG Long Island customers are affected, according to data on its website as of 11:15 a.m. Wednesday:

  • Northport: 1,785 without power — 50.27 percent. Estimated time of repair: 2:30 a.m. Friday.
  • East Northport: 2,390 without power — 30.81 percent. ETR: 3:30 a.m. Friday.

  • Elwood: 862 without power — 20.22 percent. ETR: 3:45 a.m. Friday.

The PSEG Long Island website was down for most of Tuesday afternoon, making it nearly impossible for residents to report outages in a timely manner.
