Northport Arrest Log: Multiple Drivers Arrested

NORTHPORT, NY—Check out some recent arrests from the Northport Village area, from July 1 through July 7.

The Northport Police Department posted the following information. All incidents are merely accusations, and those accused are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Arrests

• Shane Pfluger, 27, of Durham, turned himself into Northport Village Police Department on an Active Bench Warrant (#55-17). He was arrested and charged with failure to pay a fine on July 1.
• James Doyle, 59, of Northport, allegedly drove while drunk. He was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI and a DWI on July 5.
• Thomas Gesuale, 62, of Northport, allegedly violated multiple traffic laws while driving without a license. He was arrested and charged with second-degree unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle/refusal to take chemical test, operation of motor vehicle by unlicensed driver, no seat-belt (driver) and failure to signal a turn on July 7.
• Leo Cerruti, 69, of Oyster Bay, allegedly violated multiple traffic laws while driving without a license. He was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, no/expired inspection certificate, no/inspired insurance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operation of motor vehicle by unlicensed driver and operation of unregistered motor vehicle on highway on July 7.
