Northport Board Of Education Elects President And VP
The Northport Board of Education voted on its president and vice president, and new trustees were sworn in.
NORTHPORT, NY — The Northport Board of Education voted on its president and vice president positions at its annual reorganization meeting on July 15.
David Badanes was elected president, and Allison Noonan was voted vice president. Both were sworn in by the board counsel.
Several others were sworn in, as well. Larry Licopoli and Thomas Loughran, both newly elected trustees, took oath for the first time. Noonan, who was re-elected, had once again been sworn in. Each of them will serve for three years on the board.

Both Superintendent of Schools Robert Banzer and District Clerk Beth Nystrom took their annual oath of office, pledging to fulfill their duties in serving the district.
