Northport Community Band to Hold First-Ever Holiday Concert
The concert will be held next month.

The Northport Community Band is holding its first-ever holiday concert with the Northport Chorale next month.
The performance will be held Sunday Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. at Northport High School’s Robert W. Krueger Center for the Performing Arts.
A portion of the ban’s program will feature familiar and unique sounds of the holiday season, including "Greensleeves," "Sholom Aleichem" and "Sleigh Ride.” The Chorale will perform holiday favorites featuring works of Victor Johnson and Greg Gillpin and a medley of classic holiday movie favorites.

The finale will feature both groups performing "White Christmas" and selections from "The Polar Express.”
Tickets cost $15 for general seating and $10 for seniors. A portion of the band’s proceeds will support the Bob & Marge Krueger Scholarship Fund.
