Northport, Elwood Public Schools Closed Friday

Northport and Elwood Public Schools will be closed Friday following snow hitting the area overnight, district officials have announced.

Here’s the message on Northport’s district website:

Due to hazardous weather conditions,
all schools and offices will be closed today
Friday, February 5, 2016. All after school and evening activities are cancelled.

Here’s the message on the Elwood Union Free School District website.

Due to the inclement weather, the Elwood School District will be closed today, Friday 2/5. All evening activities are cancelled.
