Northport Police Blotter: Fireworks Set Off
The person who set the fireworks off was warned and admonished, police say.
NORTHPORT, NY — Check out some recent police incidents for the Northport Village area from Nov. 22 through Nov. 28.
The Northport Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

- A light pole was removed at Laurel Avenue School on Nov. 23 after it sustained damage between Oct. 26 and Oct. 27.
- A woman told police on Nov. 24 she got a letter from T-Mobile stating her account may have been part of a security breach in August. She said she has not noticed any fraudulent activity among any of her personal accounts.
- A man tried to enter the back of Northport Fish & Lobster on Nov. 24 despite him being banned from the place.
- A person suffered a cut to the face during a fight on School Street around 1 a.m. Nov. 27. Northport Rescue brought the person to Huntington Hospital.
- Fireworks were being set off on Stanton Street around 9:20 p.m. Nov. 27. A police officer warned and admonished the resident.
- A male was overdosing on heroin on Vernon Valley Road on Nov. 28. Northport police provided help until more authorities arrived.
- Someone involved in a motor vehicle crash on Waterside Avenue on Nov. 28 left the scene.
