Northport Police Blotter: Truck Hits Northport Liquor Store

NORTHPORT, NY — Check out some recent police incidents for the Northport Village area from March 7 through March 13.

The Northport Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

Incidents

• A truck hit Port to Port Wines & Spirits on March 9.
• A Highland Avenue woman on March 10 reported her new mailbox was stolen.
• Police gave a ride home to a drunken man who fell into the street around 4:15 p.m. March 11.
• A sick raccoon was reported in a Douglas Avenue back yard on March 12. Police did not find the raccoon, but told the homeowner to call back if they saw it again.
• A hit-and-run was reported in Municipal Lot #1 of Constitution Square on March 12.
• A woman suffering from chest pains was brought from Engeman Theater to Huntington Hospital by Northport Rescue on March 13.
