A family-owned Northport restaurant has partnered with a nonprofit to help build hospitals and medical support facilities in El Salvador.

Maroni’s Cuisine felt a strong connection to this charity since most of its kitchen staff is Salvadorian.

To give back, Maria and Mike Maroni are offering their “function” room out, which holds 36 people and offers a tasting menu, and giving a percent of the proceeds to Medical Mission International Inc.
