Northport Symphony Orchestra Concert on Nov. 20th
Northport Symphony Orchestra will present a free concert with featured soloist Carol Montparker at Northport High School on Friday, Nov. 20.
The Northport Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Richard Hyman, will present a free concert on Friday, Nov. 20th at 8:00 PM at Northport High School. The concert will feature pianist and Steinway Artist Carol Montparker, who will perform the Clavier Concerto in D Minor (BWV 1052) by Johann Sebastian Bach. The orchestra will also present the premiere Long Island performance of Homage, by James M. Cohn, an American composer who resides in Queens. The program will conclude with Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7.
Northport High School is located at 154 Laurel Hill Rd., Northport (corner of Elwood Rd.).
No tickets are necessary for this free concert. Donations accepted; all proceeds benefit the Northport Symphony Orchestra.
