Northport Teams Named Scholar Athletes

NORTHPORT, NY - From Northport-East Northport School District: Northport High School’s winter varsity athletic teams have once again all been named New York State Scholar Athlete Teams by the New York Stat Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA). In order to achieve this distinction, 75 percent of each team must hold a 90.0 average or above.

“We are so proud of our student-athletes,” said District Director of Health, Physical Education & Athletics Mark Dantuono. “They’re equally as dedicated to their education as they are to athletics.”
