Northport Village To Celebrate 125 Years With Chalk Walk

NORTHPORT, NY — Northport residents will be able to partake in the Chalk Walk Festival on Sunday, Sept. 29 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Inc. Village of Northport, per the Northport Chamber of Commerce.

The walk will be held downtown Main Street and runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

According to the Chamber, each participant or team will sign up for a spot on the sidewalk to draw their idea of Northport. Artist-grade sidewalk chalk will be provided at the event, though you can feel free to bring your own washable set. You can start drawing in the morning, and viewers will walk around to see your process and finished product.
