Northport's 56th Art and Music Festival Kicks off Sunday

Artwork created by students will be on display while members of the community enjoy an entire day dedicated to the arts in Northport at the 56th Art and Music Festival on Sunday.

The festival will be held on the water at Northport Village Park and will feature musical ensembles, dance performers and even a fashion show.

This community-wide event, hosted by the Northport School District, supports the arts and is a way to promote local artistic talent.

• 11:45 a.m.— Norwood Grade 5 Chorus–Maureen Edwards
• 11:55 a.m.— Northport High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble–Ellen McCarthy
• 12:00 p.m.— Northport High School Fashion Show-Robin O’Neill-Gonzalez
• 12:15 p.m.— Northport High School Symphonic Winds-Lynn Cromeyn, Director
• 12:30 p.m.— Northport High School Dance Company–Kaylie LaLota
• 12: 45 p.m.— Northport High School Symphony Orchestra-Margaret Janke, Director
• 1:10 p.m.— East Northport Middle School Orchestra - William Ayasse, Director
• 1:30 p.m.— Bellerose/Ocean Avenue Fiddle Club - William Ayasse & Mike Susinno, Directors
• 1:45 p.m.— Northport Middle School Orchestra - Michael Susinno, Director
• 2:00 p.m.— Northport High School Concert Band - TJ Shaper, Director
• 2:20 p.m.— Northport High School Jazz Ensemble – TJ Schaper, Director
