If you are ever at Norwood Avenue School for afternoon dismissal , look in Bus # 911 at the way it is decorated for the children. This driver has it set up so the children has a beautiful ride to school and back home. Besides the Holiday decorations he has drawings from the children in there also.
I asked him why he does it and he says it is their bus, I want them to feel very comfortable and enjoy the ride in and respect their bus, a moving Art Gallery, their art. Now they will make decorations or bring some in , so they know it is their bus, they feel real good about it, makes them happy makes me happy.
So if you want to see some nice work in progress check it out, he says he is still adding to it, and then they get to take what ever they want off the bus, any decoration or what ever. What a nice person he is and say hello to him when around. e will make you feel good.
