Photos: Celebrating Independence at Asharoken Fireworks Show

Fireworks lit up the night sky in Asharoken to celebrate America’s 239 years of independence on Saturday.

Also pictured are officers from the Asharoken Police Department and Asharoken Village Officials in front of the new Village Hall under construction for a briefing in preparation for the July 4th fireworks show. Police officers provided additional patrols to assist with traffic control and assure the safety of residents and visitors during the event.
