Police Log: Arrest for Liquid THC, Violent Domestic Incident, Pharmacist Calls 911

Friday, June 19
At 12:16 p.m., a 27-year-old Northport woman was arrested and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree (liquid THC) on Waterside Avenue.
At 3:20 p.m. police reported identity theft at Lewis Road.

At 3:40 p.m., A 59-year-old Northport man was arrested and charged with third degree assault with intent to cause physical injury to another person on Bayview Avenue. Police responded to the location for a violent domestic incident.
At 6:42 p.m., police received a report of a disturbance involving a chicken on Monroe Street.

Saturday, June 20
At 3:21 p.m., police received a report that a family of raccoons was out during daylight hours near Waterview Lane. The raccoons were gone upon police arrival.
At 5:01 p.m., police reported two abandoned 911 calls from CVS Pharmacy on Fort Salonga Road. Officers arrived to the store and it was found that the pharmacist accidentally made the calls.
Sunday, June 21
At 12:04 a.m., a 29-year-old Northport man was served an appearance ticket for knocking over two village flower pots into Main Street. He was charged with fourth degree criminal mischief and intent to damage property. The crime was caught on video camera and the man could be seen pushing over the village flower pots and attempting to push over a Northport Village garbage can.
Monday, June 22
At 9:59 a.m., a person returned found property to police. The property, found at Village Park, was a Rawlings outfielder’s glove and a Klean Kanteen water bottle.
