At 1:49 a.m., police received a report of a possible assault on Bayview Avenue.
Wednesday, Jan. 13
At 12:48 a.m., police were notified that the front door of PetPort was open while the business, located on Main Street, was closed. Upon further investigation, it was determined the door blew open due to heavy winds and there was no sign of a break-in or criminality.
At 12:53 a.m., police received a report of feces smeared into two “X” shapes on a fence on Laurel Avenue. Police said it appeared to be dog feces.
At 5:17 p.m., police received a report that a dog was left outside for five hours and it was continuously barking on Short Street.
Friday, Jan. 15
At 7:34 p.m., police reported a suspicious event in which there was a loud bang at the front door of a Scudder Avenue residence. It was the second time in two week this has happened. Police checked the surrounding area and were unable to locate anyone.
