Police Seek Person Who Destroyed Northport Soccer Fields

Authorities are looking to identify the person or persons responsible for causing $10,000 worth of damage to soccer fields at the Northport Soccer Complex earlier this month.

According to Suffolk County Police, the person or persons drove a vehicle on the fields, located on Eatons Neck Road, at some point between Sept. 11 at 9 p.m. and Sept. 12 at 7 a.m.

Those responsible for this crime are wanted for criminal mischief.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
