Police Seize Drugs, Weapons From 3 Suffolk County Homes
Authorities conducted drug raids at homes over the course of two days; five people arrested.

Five people were arrested after authorities executed search warrants at three homes in Huntington Station, Patchogue and Ronkonkoma over the course of two days, Suffolk Police announced Thursday.
Authorities say they seized 64 bags of heroin, assorted prescription narcotics, three cell phones, two scales, packaging materials and $9,400 from 16 West Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station on Wednesday.

Eric Oquendo, 37, a resident of the home, was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
A second search warrant conducted Thursday at a Ronkonkoma home led to authorities seizing 240 bags of heroin, 25 grams of cocaine, a quantity of prescription narcotics, a shotgun, cellphones, and 9mm ammunition and magazines, police say.

Three people were arrested at the home, located at 311 Johnson Ave.:
- Edward Solomon, 26, a resident of the home, was charged with second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
- Denys Meyer, 44, of Mastic Beach, was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- Danielle Desposito, 34, of Miller Place, was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
A third search warrant conducted at a Patchogue home Thursday led to authorities seizing 26 grams of cocaine, more than 2,500 Xanax pills, 350 grams of marijuana, 49 grams of wax marijuana, more than $5,500, a stun gun, switchblade knife, gravity knife, seven cellphones, four scales and packaging for cocaine and pills, police say.
Philip Paul, 21, a resident of the 42 Mainsail Drive home, was charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of marijuana and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
This is the ninth drug-related search warrant conducted in Suffolk County since late April.
