POLL: Should the East Northport Starbucks Serve Alcohol?
The coffeehouse applied for a liquor license earlier this month.

The Starbucks is looking to serve alcohol at its East Northport location.
The coffeehouse, located at 3011 Jericho Turnpike, recently applied for a liquor license on Oct. 14, according to a NYS Liquor Authority representative.
The “Starbucks Evenings” menu looks to bring more customers to Starbucks during the evening hours by serving alcoholic beverages. The menu offers wine and craft beer to be paired with Starbucks’ signature coffee and tea beverages. Check out a sample menu here.

The East Northport Starbucks is among four locations on Long Island that have applied for a liquor license. Other locations include:
- Huntington, located at 1 Wall St.
- Hauppauge, located at 513 Route 111
- Long Beach, located at 101 W. Park Ave.
A Starbucks representative said the company is in the early stages of considering these Long Island stores for the Evenings menu. “It’s a long and thoughtful process and the permit filing is just one of many steps we take,” the representative told Patch.

The closest Starbucks that currently offers the “Starbucks Evenings” menu is in Brooklyn.
