Prom Dress Donation Drop-off in Northport

A prom dress donation drop off in Northport is making sure prom is a memorable experience for girls who might not have the money to keep up with the glitz and glamour of high school proms.

The Project Prom drop off will be held until March 25 at Dutch Girl Cleaners, located at 705 Fort Salonga Road. Residents can donate gently used prom, bridesmaid and formal dresses. All styles and sizes are welcome.

Dutch Girl Cleaners, which has offered to clean and store all donated dresses, will accept donations Tuesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
