Remember When Patti LuPone Snatched an Audience Member's Cell Phone?

When Northport native Patti LuPone performs, you should probably put your cell phone away.

LuPone was performing in “Shows for Days” at Lincoln Center on Wednesday when one audience member would not stop texting, Playbill reports.

Lupone snatched the cell phone out of the audience member’s hand and took the phone backstage with her.

This isn’t the first time LuPone took action against a rude audience member. In a 2008 performance of “Gypsy,” she stopped mid-singing to scold a photographer.

Nobody disrespects Patti LuPone and gets away with it.
