Santa Claus Spreads Holiday Cheer in Asharoken Village

Santa offered holiday greetings and hearty "Ho, Ho, Ho's" to all.

Before Christmas, Asharoken got into the holiday spirit with a special visit from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at Asharoken Village Hall.

The celebrity guests were greeted by Asharoken Mayor Greg Letica and Village Trustees as he arrived on his sleigh with the assistance of the Northport Fire Department. Santa spread holiday greetings and hearty "Ho, Ho, Ho's" to all while he was welcomed by Village officials, police, residents, and lots of wide-eyed children.

Santa and his helpers distributed cookies, oranges, lollipops and candy-filled stockings to kids. Visitors were also treated to a performance by the A Capella group Valence, which sang popular music and holiday carols.
