Shot Fired in Centerport, Police Investigating
The incident occurred Wednesday morning, police said.
Suffolk County Police say they are investigating an incident in which a gun was fired in Centerport Wednesday morning.
According to detectives, a McKinley Terrace resident was on the street outside his home at about 8:45 a.m. when he became involved in an altercation with several men he said he didn’t know. One of the men fired a shot that struck an unoccupied car.
Police said there are no arrests at this time.
