Smashburger Opens in East Northport on Wednesday

The newest burger place in East Northport plans to officially open its doors this Wednesday.

Residents can finally get a taste of Smashburger, located at 4097 Jericho Turnpike, when the store opens at 11 a.m.

This fast-casual restaurant makes its burgers with 100 percent Angus beef. Workers form the beef into meatballs, place them on a hot grill and sear the meat for 10 seconds with a special tool.

Their hamburgers and grilled chicken sandwiches come on four different types of buns: egg, spicy chipotle, brioche and multigrain. All food is cooked to order. Check out the menu here.

The East Northport location is open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Smashburger now has six Long Island locations, including restaurants in Lindenhurst, Hicksville, Wantagh, Port Washington and New Hyde Park.
