​St. Baldrick’s Team From East Northport Looks to Fundraise $10K

The team has raised more than $81,000 to support childhood cancer research over the past 10 years.

Local residents will be shaving their heads in solidarity with kids with cancer and to raise money for child cancer research at a St. Baldricks event next month.

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research.

The Fr. Thomas A. Judge Knights of Columbus team from East Northport is one of the several teams formed to maximize the event’s fundraising efforts.

The team looks to reach their goal of $10,000 in time for the event, which will be held from noon to 6 p.m.on Sunday, March 12 at Miller’s Ale House, located at 88 Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack.

The Knights of Columbus team has raised more than $81,000 over the last ten years.
