St. Baldrick's Event To Be Held At Northport High School
The school's annual "Brave the Shave" event is coming up to show support for children suffering from pediatric cancer.
NORTHPORT, NY — Northport High School is set to host its annual "Brave the Shave" event on Friday. The event is in support of the St. Baldrick's Foundation.
Students and staff have volunteered to have their heads shaved in a sign of solidarity with children suffering from pediatric cancer. In addition to head shaving, the event will feature family fun activities for students of all ages.
The event is slated to run from 3 to 7 p.m., while the head shavings are penciled in for 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
