UPDATE: East Northport Man Found, Suffolk Police Say

Police updated their missing person announcement.

UPDATE, 10:07 a.m. — Kevin Karpowicz has been located, unharmed, Suffolk County police said.


NORTHPORT, NY — Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to locate an East Northport man who was reported missing Wednesday.

Kevin Karpowicz, 41, was last seen on Greenvale Drive at about 9 a.m. April 1.

Karpowicz is white, 5 feet 10 inches tall and approximately 190 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, a goatee beard and tattoos on his legs. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, grey shorts, and sneakers. He was driving a grey 2007 Chrysler Sebring, four-door sedan, with New York license plate HKV2662. Karpowicz is in need of medication.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Karpowicz’s location to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or 911.
